Upcoming Events at The Park

As well as the chance to take a pedal boat out on the lake, hire a bike or just go for a beautiful lakeside walk through the leaves or a sun filled lay on the sand, The Cotswold Country Park & Beach is beginning to host some magical family, sporting and educational events. After the success of the newly established events here at the park over the course of 2009 the family fun will continue on throughout this year with everything from Punch and Judy shows to life drawing classes.

Here at the park our aim is to create a magical and very much family oriented atmosphere for both locals and tourists alike to love and enjoy. So as well as striving to improve the park & it’s facilities – such as the newly designed café and shop - building a year round and fun packed events diary is something that we hope will really help towards creating the atmosphere and venue that we are striving for.

So far we have already had circus workshops, steel drum bands and even camel rides here at the park throughout the sumer – all of which went down a storm and were very much a success. And during the colder winter season we also provided a particularly gruesome Halloween activity day and a magical Winter market, complete with it's own Santas Grotto!

So there really has never been a better time to visit us here at The Cotswold Country Park & Beach – whether it be your first time, or a chance to reacquaint yourself with our stunning site – as we have everything you need for a fabulous family day out all year round and our new diary of events really is shaping up to be something not to be missed!

Every Wednesday from 28th July - Wednesday 25th August 2010
Water Zorbing

This summer, we’re launching something a little different here at the park in the shape of Water Zorbing! We have two fantastic ‘Waterwalkerz’ that are large, transparent balls that let you run, roll, flip and spin on the water, without getting wet!!! Water Zorbing is the latest craze to hit the UK and is a unique activity that provides a lot of fun for all ages, from toddlers to adults! We are currently one of only three venues throughout the entire country that provide this activity at the moment, so why not come on down and experience this fantastic and exclusive new activity for yourselves!

Every Saturday from 7th August - Saturday 28th August 2010
Punch & Judy

This summer we thought we’d give you just a little extra treat and welcome all the fun of the seaside, here to the Cotswolds, in the form of John and Trevor Harvey and their fantastic Punch and Judy show! Their fabulous show includes all of the main traditional characters; the crocodile, Judy, Joey the clown, the policeman, and of course Mr Punch himself! All of the puppets are beautifully hand carved, painted and dressed, making the show both colourful and authentic - and there is lots of audience participation too, making it great fun for children and adults alike! Plus, as a little extra treat our entertainers will also be roaming the park making balloon modeled creations for all you good boys and girls – anything from Daffy Duck to an X-Files alien! A good old fashioned British summers day out, not to be missed!
12:30pm, 2:00pm and 3:30pm
