Dogs are allowed throughout the country park they are simply not allowed on the sand of the beach or in the toddlers play area. Dogs must be kept on a lead or be under close supervision at all times and all mess must be cleaned up and disposed of appropriatley in the bins provided throughout the park.
There is a dog swim located between the Head 4 Heights Arial Adventure Centre and The Toddlers play area.
There is a Café on site, from which hot drinks are available throughout the entirity of the day and hot and cold food is served between 10am – 4pm in the summer and 11am – 3pm during the winter. Find out more here...

We do have a swimming area here at the park and it is open for use all year round however, it is only lifeguarded at peak times during the summer months.
Open water swimming is permitted on the lake, however it is run by Waterland Outdoor Pursuits so please contact them directly for details.
Small inflatable boats, rings, toys etc are allowed within our swimming area however, canoeing / kayacking etc is run only from Waterland Outdoor Pursuits and as such you will need to contact them directly for details.
There is no height restriction for vehicles entering the park and we have ample parking available.
There is no parking charge here at the park – simply the seasonal entrance fee, which is payable within the main visitor centre on site.
The permanent toilet block is located by the entrance on the park (an additional temporary toilet block is positioned over by the beach during the summer months) and the first aid room is located in the green porta cabin opposite the visitor centre – please ask in the visitor centre for assistance.

We have seven Industrial BBQs here on site that are designed to take groups of up to 100 people. However, they can be hired for any size group for any occasion. Simply contact the Visitor Centre for availability. Please see the BBQ section of this website for further details. You are also permitted to bring disposable / portable BBQS on site as long as they are closely supervised and disposed of correctly
The track that leads around both of our lakes is approx 2 ½ miles long and is accessible by foot, bike and is also wheel chair friendly. However, it is not suitable for cars
