The Fossil Trail

Here at the park we have recently introduced a fascinating selection of fossils and sculptures along the beautiful lakeside walks that lead around the park. The collection is ever growing and throughout the year you will find that we are frequently holding wood carving and sculpture building events where you can come and witness some real craftsmen at work actually creating our sculptures and carvings from scratch and some of the fossils that we are home to here at the park are more than 500,000,000 years old!

So why not pop down to the park and take a leisurely stroll round this fascinating trail – its well worth the trip!
